I was young (14? 15?), and I think maybe I took him for granted. In fact, I know I took him for granted, because when I had to change instructors and be taught by an actual violist, I dropped lessons altogether. I do, however, thank you for your words, and I thank you for reading my post about Stephan. Maybe someday I can hear you play!

We studied together at DePauw and at Michigan. I well remember the passionate style of play and the “crazy” hair. We lost touch and I learned belatedly of his passing. Thank you for posting.
