]]> By: sisstor http://semmie.wordpress.com/2011/05/08/my-mom-makes-the-best/#comment-906 Mon, 09 May 2011 11:10:35 +0000 http://semmie.wordpress.com/?p=1057#comment-906 I must confess, not ALL the socks were eaten by the dragons in our washers and dryers over the years….as he kids have grown out of their knit socks rom mom, i’ve gatherd them from the wash (clean of course) and carefully packed them away for each of them so they will have something of theirs that they can pass on to their kids, and ther grandkids, and great grandkids…..oh and the mittens too. I don’t have but a couple pair of mittens left, as those tend to get forgotten in the garage or outside to dry out and then picked apart and carried away by birds for nesting.

I think I personnally only have a few pair from mom, but they are my favorite! I love to wear them with my sandals in the NC winters so my feet stay warm, but I can show off the pretty colors!
