The word hope is often used in His Word. In Koine Greek it is “elpis” but it’s original meaning was “a confident expectation,” never maybe. This gives more weight to verses like Romans 15:13, 1 Thes 5:8, Tituis 1:2 & 2:13, Hebrews 3:6, etc. Most all NT “hopes” are STGs #1680. Read them with this understanding and enjoy His promises even more.

the opal ring I found under the dishwasher months and months, (and years maybe?) after you left NC and wow, what’s with this family and losing rings and thinking we’ll never see them again, and then all of the sudden, there it is! I’ve got a ring story too….hmm, maybe you’re right, I should start a blog to tell my stories.
Yep…the same opal ring! I lost it sometime last year (again), and thought it was gone for good! But behold, there it is.
