I have placed my present circumstances in His hands, although I’m not sure what He wants me to do meanwhile. One instance of when I have placed something in His hands; He did something without any need of me, but it was an unusual situation. And his solution came, not only as a total surprise, but also as a shock.

If God wants me to enjoy my dreams and passions, He will have to remove that which I have no control over…i.e., I’m helpless otherwise. I am trying to keep my focus on Him, but I may be fooling myself in that I may actually be still too focused on the circumstances.

Please, pray for me!

Steve, don’t you think God wants you to enjoy your dreams and passions while you’re here? I think He does–though I don’t believe it should be our prime focus in life!

I’ve always believed that the things most passionate in our hearts will find their final fulfillment in our Savior when we finally see Him face to face. So maybe it’d be okay if He called you home when you “got everything together.”

I’ve always had this feeling that just about the time I get everything together with my hopes and dreams, the Lord will call me home. “Steve, playtime is over. It’s time to come home now.”
